I really need help…
My parents have debts to a local bank approximately $10,000 to pay charge because an unfortunate event my father has gone through. At first my father and his boss were joining to make an investment of a project (aside from his main job). However when the project reaped profits, his boss was violating their initial agreements and filling a lawsuit against my father. However despite the clearly statement of the contract, the result wasn’t that favorable to my father so he has to pay charge with that amount of money and of course we don’t have that much at the moment.
Because of this, of course my father was losing trust and respect for his boss so he decided to resign from his main job. Hence, my father is jobless now. So in order to pay that amount of money, my father had to borrow from bank because he has no income. However my father is jobless at the moment and unlikely will get another job because his age was over the productive age (he is 62 y.o. now and the max productive age is 54 y.o. in my country), my mother isn’t working too, she is only a housewife and now she is falling into sickness, and my sister will enter university soon which cost a lot of money. I have a job but my salary isn’t enough to cover the loan (my salary is only $160/month and I have to pay my own rent cause I live faraway from my parents and I could only help about $70/month). However the debt is about $278/month for 3 years so we won’t be able to pay the debts with our situation right now and we might lose our home at this rate; and this is why I feel so useless because I can’t do anything.
I still want to find a better job, but with the high rate of unemployment in my country, this is not an easy task. So if anyone perhaps could help me and my family, I would really appreciate it.
